What is FindIcons.com?

As its name suggests, FindIcons.com is an icon search engine helps you find free icons. It has a largest searchable free icons database in the world (Who has more icons than us? Let us know) and a sophisticated search filtering and result matching system both make it possible for you to get an icon you need in every design tasks.

What we do and why we created this service?

We built this service from scratch, the icon database, the backend codes, the frontend design and even the mascots. There were some existing icon search engines out there but many times I had to turn to Google Images to look for an icon. I also hate to see the false advertisement on a peer's website which claims 150,000+ icons but actually has no more than 100,000 ones in database (Yes, we have 90% of the 400+ icon packs on that site so we know the correct number). Maybe I'm picky in this regard, but that's one of the reason I create FindIcons.com

Why FindIcons.com is better then other peers?

Like what I mentioned above, FindIcons.com has a largest free icon collections, a better search filtering & matching system and more output options. Also, we track every search query and manually adjust search results according to average ratings to the search results by all users. And we also noticed search is only the first step, it was still inconvenient to categorize every icon you found. So we created a handy User Set tool to allow you group frenquently used icons in your personal Favourites box which can be accessed 24/7 from anywhere. Now, you will have an alternative option other than having to put favourite icons into folders in your hard drive.

Vector Volt Back On-line

Hi All,

I'm sure you've all been wondering what happened to Vector Volt the last few months. Well, we were hacked by some hacker that took the site down. I've been working hard to get it back up and running again with the little time I have. In the process of bringing it back up I decided to try using Wordpress to run the back end. This took longer than I expected but it is finally up. It is still a work in progress.

The main site is wordpress but the blog part runs on Blogger.com. It was done this way because of programming issues that is to long to explain.
